I spent many hours bringing this imaginative moth to life. The design includes many of my favorite details of moths, like their unique antennae and fuzzy little bodies.
To make this piece extra special, the upper wings have been given movement so they can be worn in an up or down position. When down gently push the top wing up until you hear a soft click. To move them down gently pull the top wing forward then down. See a video here.
Using traditional metalsmithng techniques, I have handcrafted the piece from solid sterling silver sheet. 24k Gold keum boo details have been added to the moon & stars. 🌙 The piece measures just over 2 1/4 inches wide. *Includes a 22 inch heavy solid sterling silver chain as shown.
