Moonlit Forest Locket

An enchanting handmade locket that captures a panoramic forest lit by a gold crescent moon and star filled sky.   
Handmade in solid sterling silver with an 18k yellow gold crescent moon. 🌙

The original concept for this series grew from an idea of carrying a positive message, affirmation or intention close to you throughout the day.  
Of course the locket can hold a variety of precious items you'd like to keep close. I will include two small glass bottles for such things as ashes, flower petals or a special find from the forest floor.

To create this unique keepsake, I hand fabricated every detail using traditional metalsmithing techniques. The entire piece is hand sawn, filed, formed and finished with great care and attention to detail. Spending over 25 hrs to make every detail shine.

The locket measures roughly 1 1/2 inch (38mm) tall, with a 1/2 inch (13mm) diameter. The lid features a tiny hinge on one side with a handmade clasps on the other.
